TitleThe Danish Dictionary On the Hardships Involved in Creating a Labelling System for Usage Restrictions in a Comprehensive Monolingual Dictionary
AbstractThis paper deals with the process of making a two-component system for labelling language usage in The Danish Dictionary (to be published 1999). It is assumed that some basic language restrictions are dependent on the inherent property of metaphoricality/figurativeness. Some labelling approaches in the German lexicographic tradition are discussed.
