AbstractThe main purpose of this paper is (i) to explicate the way research on emotion concepts in the cognitive sciences can be used as a source for defining emotion words, and (ii) to indicate how knowledge structures for feelings feature in the presentation and interpretation of dictionary definitions of emotion words.
