Title Methods for Lexicon Maintenance
Abstract The aim of the paper is to discuss the four basic methods for maintaining the content of lexicon entries. Thinking of the successful application of feature structure systems in computational linguistics, the paper suggests to introduce an additional operation into these systems to support lexicon maintenance. Our experience in using the lexicon formalism LeX4, which provides all the required operations, verifies the approach.
