Title Documents and Knowledge Bases: Engagement Should Lead to Marriage
Abstract We describe how we link knowledge bases to associated web documents. The document provides more information and more pleasant reading, whilethe knowledge base contains highly condensed lexical and encyclopedic (critical) facts. The idea is to be able to move easily by just one click between the two. We have used the Sun Java Tutorial in an undergraduate course on programming languages as an example. We suggest that in the future, web documents could be supplied with such associated knowledge bases to make them more complete and understandable.
