Title La centralità del parlante in formato elettronico: l’esperienza del Vocabolario del fiorenti no contemporaneo (VFC)
Abstract This paper focuses on the Vocabolario del fiorentino contemporaneo (VFQ - a project of Accademia della Crusca started in 1995 and founded on field investigations - as an electronic data base. Regarding lexicon, the oral competence brought out by our interviews doesn't focus on the simple word, but on specific uses of word itself: this kind of competence connects the speaker with his own anthropological context. Moreover, we can observe the tendency of the informants in gathering lexicon into specific lexical areas. In this articulated way the speaker feels himself deeply rooted in his own linguistics community. Under this particular respect we want to show how the organization of VFC data base tries to recover characteristics of lexical competence according with the perspective of our informants: so the way in which linguistic data are filed allows the research to follow the way in which the speaker signifies his own linguistic identity.
