Title From Dictionary Use through Lexicology towards Lexicography
Abstract The present paper deals with a new approach to teaching lexicography at the university level that has been developed at Moscow State University, Russia. It consists in presenting all three academic subjects, i.e. Dictionary Use, Lexicology, Lexicography as a triad in the university curriculum, the course in lexicography being the concluding part of the triad. The structure and the content of the course in lexicography are also outlined in the paper.
